Nicole Mata's Bio:

Originally from northern Virginia, Nicole moved to New York City to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Fueled by her passion for art, design, and fashion Nicole graduated at the top of her class with a degree in Display & Exhibit Design. Returning to Virginia, Nicole began her career working for one of the top caterers in the Washington D.C. area. Her talents led her to design events and tabletop arrangements for such prominent clients as the Republican National Convention and The Gold Cup. Seeking more diverse opportunities for her unique and creative style, Nicole returned to New York and worked under the tutelage of a well-known event designer. In 2003, she founded Delamata Designs. Having her own company gave Nicole the freedom to combine her unique creative range with an understanding of and commitment to the needs and desires of her clients. Whether approaching an event from the catering, fashion/trend, planning, or design aspect, Nicole understands the industry and masterfully meets all the needs of that event efficiently and creatively. Her knowledge and love of her work brings passion to her designs and an ever-expanding willingness to stretch her limits, trying new techniques and styles in order to please her customers. The result is a growing record of extraordinary work & loyal clientele.
