Nicole Mata is the visionary behind Delamata Designs, a creative studio where artistry, intention, and storytelling converge to craft experiences that feel as personal as they are unforgettable. With over two decades of experience spanning interiors, events, retail, and digital design, Nicole brings a rare blend of imagination, refinement, and practical expertise to every project. Raised in Arlington, Virginia, she was captivated early on by the power of visual storytelling, a passion that led her to New York City and a double major at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing and Display & Exhibit Design—where she discovered her true calling: transforming spaces into immersive, memorable experiences.

She began her career designing retail environments for Nordstrom and Crate & Barrel, mastering the art of aligning brand identity with customer experience. She became sought-after for high-profile event design, creating stunning moments for Broadway premieres, celebrity celebrations, and corporate galas. Inspired to bring all her talents together, Nicole founded Delamata Designs, a full-service studio offering event planning, interior styling, and graphic design.

Today, she partners with private clients, couples, homeowners, entrepreneurs, and organizations to craft interiors, celebrations, and branded visuals—including custom invitations, signage, and collateral—that are as thoughtful and purposeful as they are beautiful, leaving a lasting impression long after the moment has passed.
