COMMUNITY EVENTS

Bringing People Together Through Creativity, Connection & Community

At Delamata Designs, we believe that some of the most meaningful experiences begin with a simple idea and a desire to bring people together.

Beyond our work in branding, design, and creative direction, we have a passion for developing and bringing to life events that celebrate the people, places, and communities that make each gathering special.

From literary festivals and seasonal markets to live music, cultural celebrations, and thoughtfully curated gatherings, our involvement often begins long before the first guest arrives. We work alongside founders, organizations, local businesses, and creative partners to transform ideas into memorable experiences, bringing together concept development, branding, event design, marketing, and community engagement.

Whether creating an event from the ground up or helping an established organization reimagine its presence, our approach combines creative vision with hands-on execution and a genuine appreciation for collaboration.

Because great events do more than bring people together. They create connections, celebrate communities, and leave something lasting behind.

EXPERIENCES WE CREATED

Gather & Goods | Community Market

Event Concept & Development, Creative Direction, Vendor Curation, Community Partnerships & Event Production

As the creator and driving force behind Gather & Goods, I developed an original community market concept designed to bring together independent artisans, makers, musicians, local businesses, and charitable organizations in a vibrant, collaborative setting. What began as an idea to create a more meaningful and engaging shopping experience evolved into a successful inaugural event at Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, welcoming more than 500 attendees.

From the initial concept through event execution, I led the research, outreach, and careful curation of a diverse collection of participating vendors, artists, musicians, and nonprofit organizations. My vision extended beyond a traditional vendor market, creating an experience that encouraged discovery, supported small businesses, celebrated local creativity, and fostered genuine community connections.

By combining thoughtful vendor selection, creative event planning, strategic promotion, and community partnerships, Gather & Goods established a distinctive market experience that brought together commerce, culture, entertainment, and philanthropy.

  • Event Concept & Creative Direction: Conceived and developed the Gather & Goods market concept from the ground up, establishing its vision, identity, event format, and community-focused approach.

  • Artisan Research & Vendor Curation: Researched, identified, recruited, and curated a diverse selection of independent artisans, makers, and small businesses, creating a thoughtfully balanced marketplace featuring unique products and creative talent.

  • Community Partnerships & Charitable Engagement: Identified and engaged local charitable organizations, incorporating opportunities for community awareness, meaningful collaboration, and philanthropic participation within the event.

  • Live Music & Entertainment: Researched and coordinated participating musicians, integrating live entertainment into the market experience to create an inviting, energetic atmosphere that encouraged visitors to gather, explore, and connect.

  • Venue Collaboration & Event Planning: Collaborated with Captain Lawrence Brewing Company to bring the inaugural market to life, coordinating the creative vision, participating vendors, and overall guest experience within the venue.

  • Brand Development & Event Promotion: Developed the event's creative identity and promotional direction, using social media and community outreach to introduce the concept, build anticipation, and attract participating vendors and attendees.

  • Event Production & Execution: Directed the planning and implementation of the inaugural gathering, bringing together multiple creative and community partners into a cohesive, engaging event.

  • Inaugural Event Success: Successfully launched Gather & Goods at Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, attracting more than 500 attendees and demonstrating the appeal of a thoughtfully curated market that celebrates local entrepreneurship, music, creativity, and community collaboration.
